Lund to chair state advisory committee

Keith Lund, Grand Forks Region Economic Development Corporation vice president, has been appointed chair of the North Dakota Public Finance Authority (PFA) Advisory Committee.

He was appointed to the committee in 2011.

“Strong, viable communities are critical as we continue to grow and diversify our state’s economy.,” said Lund. “The Public Finance Authority is instrumental in supporting community projects. I am looking forward to chairing the organization as we look to the abundant opportunities and needs for infrastructure and economic development throughout the state.”

Lund began his term as chair July 1.

The PFA, a self-supporting state agency under management of the Industrial Commission of North Dakota, provides financing to local political subdivisions.

The PFA Advisory Committee provides input into lending and policy recommendations the PFA forwards to the Industrial Commission for final action.

In addition to Lund, Wade Williams, Jamestown, N.D., and Robert Frantzvog, Minot, N.D., currently serve on the PFA Advisory Committee.
